Landfill Entrance Facility Improvements

We will be kicking off construction soon. We will begin by setting up a temporary building for City Staff that manage the scales and by installing temporary scales.

There will be a new traffic pattern once the temporary facilities are in place. Click "Photos" on the right of the page for an easier to see depiction.

We are pleased to announce that City Council has approved the construction award to Gage & Cade Construction. Next step is to set up a kickoff meeting and get the improvements underway.

Contract negotiations are underway with a General Contractor and once finalized will go before City Council for approval.

The solicitation request for a General Contractor has been published. Bids are due March 20th, via ionwave or in person by 1:00pm. All questions should be directed to purchasing department while the solicitation is open. Bids will be read immediately following at 1:30pm.

The project design is 100% complete. The invitation for bid will be released to registered vendors in Quarter 1 2024.

The schedule will be published once a general contractor is selected.
