Kimley-Horn, the engineering firm overseeing this project, conducted a thorough and detailed evaluation of the criteria to reassess the selection of Ultra-Violet water disinfection equipment. Following their comprehensive analysis, they provided recommendations to the city staff to optimize the project's outcomes. Recently, a productive value engineering session was held, bringing together city staff, representatives from Kimley-Horn, and the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), Sundt. This collaborative meeting followed Sundt’s submission of the 30% cost model, allowing the team to strategically review and refine the project’s direction to ensure both efficiency and excellence Moving forward.
