Nightly Paving Construction Scheduled to Continue Tuesday, Sept. 14

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 14 through Friday, Sept. 17, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will continue overnight paving on southbound FM 2181 from Montecito Drive to Old Alton Road as part of their active road widening and reconstruction project.

During this time, brief intermittent lane closures maybe in place to allow concrete trucks to safely cross the roadway, but traffic will be able travel through the work zone. Delays and backups may occur so motorists are reminded to adhere to all posted construction signage and use caution when traveling in the area.
