Mandatory Year-Round Watering Rules
Mandatory Twice-A-Week Irrigation Schedule
- Residents with an odd address (ending in 1,3,5,7 or 9) may only water on Wednesdays and Sundays.
- Residents with an even address (ending in 0, 2, 4, 6, 8 or no address on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
- Commercial and multi-family units may water on Mondays and Thursdays.
Lawn and Landscape Irrigation and Water Waste Ordinance
Prohibition of outdoor watering from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM every day from June 1st through September 30th.
All irrigation systems must include rain and freeze sensors.
Prohibition of irrigation designs and installations that spray directly onto impervious surfaces such as sidewalks, roads, and onto any other non-irrigated areas.
Prohibition of the use of poorly maintained sprinkler systems that waste water.
Requirement that any outside faucet or service line leak be repaired.
Drought Contingency Plan Watering Rules
Stage 1 Drought - Mild
Prohibition of outdoor watering from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Prohibition of using water to clean paved areas, building, windows, or other surfaces.
Stage 2 Drought - Moderate
All landscape watering is limited to one day of the week between the hours of 6:00 PM and 10:00 AM.

Prohibition of the operation of an ornamental fountain that does not have a recirculation system or is not used to support aquatic life.

Restriction of washing any vehicle to the use of a hand-held bucket or a hose equipped with a positive shut-off only on your designated watering day.
Restrict the use of water to replace evaporation losses in swimming pools, wading pools, and jacuzzi type pools.

Permitting of new swimming pools, hot tubs, spas, ornamental ponds, and fountain construction is prohibited.
