We are anticipating the release of the Construction Documents in the coming weeks. After that it will go to bid, looking for subcontractor/trade partners to complete the work. Once the final price is negotiated, we will go before council for approval.

We've received the 75% set of Construction Drawings and are reviewing with our team for accuracy.

Construction documents are nearing completion!

This month the design team has been working with their consultants (Engineers) to solidify the designs of the scopes that you don't see. Like the structural components, mechanical, electrical, stormwater and other utilities. We also were able to discuss the interior design components too.

The design team continues to hone the details of the project. As the drawings get more and more detailed, we are able to determine cost estimates more accurately.

The design team is plugging away at the details to make this facility inviting and functional for our friends, furry and otherwise!

The team has been working through design and cost estimates to provide the City with the 2023 Bond requirements within budget.

Our schematic design is complete. The design team will begin adding details to the drawings to make it functional (like electrical, mechanical, and plumbing) and our general contractor will begin the cost model.

We are happy to announce that on Tuesday, August 20th, City Council approved Steele & Freeman, Inc to provide Pre-Construction Services.

We are in contract negotiations with a General Contractor for a Construction Manager at Risk Pre-Construction agreement.
