Hybrid Community Engagement Meeting
The Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled a public meeting for the Aquatics Master Plan. The Park Planning staff and Consultants have been working diligently to engage the community for feedback concerning growth, current facility uses, and future wants. Input from this meeting will be added to aquatic surveys and recommendations from the consultants to help form a plan to address the future of Aquatics in Denton. This meeting will be offered in person at the Denton Development Services Center located at:
401 N. Elm Street, Denton, TX 76201
This meeting is scheduled to take place on November 10, 2022, at 6 p.m. Attendees who cannot join in person can access the meeting and provide input by joining virtually.

Residents are encouraged to sign up for the virtual meeting at least 24 hours before receiving the meeting link. The City will provide special accommodations, such as sign language interpreters for the hearing impaired if requested at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled meeting. Please email parksnrec@cityofdenton.com so that accommodation requests can be reviewed and processed.
Residents unable to participate are welcome to submit input within the Ideas or comments feature in this platform or email them to Monica Martin, Program Area Manager, at monica.martin@cityofdenton.com.

City staff will host a hybrid (In-Person/Virtual)ting to provide residents, patrons, partners and business owners an opportunity to provide feedback on the project. The Hybrid (in-Person/Virtual) meeting will be held both in-person at the Development Services Center training rooms located at 401 N. Elm Street and on Zoom.
