hornisher asked 8 months agoThank you for submitting your questions. The Dry Fork Interceptor line will connect to the Hickory Creek Interceptor which is located just south of Corbin Road. The sewer line is being installed to accommodate current and future wastewater collection demands due to continued growth and development in the southwest Denton area. By diverting increased flows off of the existing wastewater collection system it allows for future growth in the Southwest Denton and continued service to residents in that area.
With the Dry Fork project there are no plans to connect any businesses or residents to this line. For future developments or planning please reach out to the City of Denton Development Services at 940-349-8600 or Development@cityofdenton.com
Thank you

Share Good afternoon! I just saw the Dry Fork Sanitary Sewer project in the "Improving Denton" brochure that I received in my mailbox. It says that the installation will run south to Corbin Road to service Southwest Denton area residents. My question is, will it be available for those of us that live on Corbin Rd, or have houses backing up to Corbin Road off Goodson Way? Thanks for your time and attention! Sincerely, Brian J. BJW asked over 2 years agoBrian,
Thank you for submitting your question. Unfortunately the alignment on the new wastewater line being installed with the Dry Fork Project will not be close enough to allow city hook ups for the residents you mentioned.
The Dry Fork Line will be starting at Corbin road and running north next to I-35W for approximately 2500 feet before turning back east to connect with existing line on Bonnie Brae.
I will attach a pic with alignment (green line) for reference. Please feel free to reach out with any other questions. scott.fettig@cityofdenton.com
