10/2022 Status Update

Construction is winding down for Hickory Creek Interceptor 1&2. Final work on the siphon and the connections to the existing lines are underway and vegetative establishment is beginning. Meanwhile, Hickory Creek Interceptor 3 is "out to bid" for construction. Over the next two months, advertising will close, bids will be opened, and staff will evaluate the contractor submittals and make a recommendation to the Public Utilities Board and City Council to award the project. Construction is expected to start in February 2023 and will last approximately 12 months.
