Project Status 12/2022

Hickory Creek Interceptor 1&2, like 2022, is winding down as the project continues towards a mid-January 2023 completion. The siphons are complete, final tie-ins are being made on the upstream, the old line is being abandoned. The City and Contractor have started the final walkthroughs & punch lists and the disturbed land is being restored and vegetated.

Hickory Creek Interceptor 3 has been advertised for construction, proposals have been evaluated, and final selection of a construction contractor is underway. Upon approval by the Public Utilities Board and City Council, the project is scheduled to be awarded in January 2023 and construction will start within 1-2 months thereafter.
