I-35 Utility Relocates Split to 380

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is widening Interstate Highway 35 (I-35) from I-35E/I-35W Split to US-380 University Drive with an estimated construction start in September 2024. The I-35 Utility Relocation (Split to US-380) Project will move public utilities in support of TxDOT I-35 widening project with the relocation of 10,200 linear feet of water and wastewater utilities. This project is scheduled for 180 days of construction and is estimated to be completed in 1st quarter 2024. Since the project is a forced relocation of City of Denton utilities, there will be reimbursements from TxDOT to support this effort at 100%.
