Irrigation Evaluation

Ensure your sprinkler system is running efficiently with a free irrigation evaluation! This service helps residents identify necessary repairs, upgrades, and set their system to the year-round irrigation schedule. Evaluations are free but subject to staff availability on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you are unable to receive a sprinkler evaluation, consider hiring a licensed irrigator to perform one instead.

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a Denton Water Utilities customer.

• Must own or lease the property for the evaluation.

• Water utility account must be in good standing.

• A person over the age of 18 must be onsite during the evaluation.

• The controller must be accessible.

What’s Included?

• Check meter for leaks.

• Run the irrigation system, flagging any damage or water waste.

• Update the irrigation controller to the Twice-A-Week irrigation schedule.

Important Note: The evaluator will not make repairs, only provide recommendations. It is the customer’s responsibility to complete repairs or hire a licensed irrigator. A list of licensed irrigators is available for reference.
