Project Status Update 5/2023

Progress was made the month of Memorial Day as McCarthy team settled into the on-site Field Office. Work that has been taking place includes more earthwork - both excavating for the future detention pond and building the embankment for new bridge. The unground storm sewer structures are underway. In addition, Texas Shafts started the drilled shafts on the south side of DCTA. Fun Fact - the drilled shafts are as deep as a 6 to 7 story building.

What can you expect to see during the month of June? Of course - more earthwork! You'll also see more storm sewer work related to the future road/bridge and detention pond. Drilling operations for the bridge vertical work (drilled shafts, piers) will be ongoing in June.
