Street Reconstruction - Neighborhood 7A

Denton Neighborhood 7A: The remainder of concrete work on Leslie St. has been completed. Leslie St. Asphalt placement has been completed crews are currently working on miscellaneous street housekeeping. Utility crews have completed both the water and sewer utilities on Oakwood. Site Excavation and Concrete flatwork has also been completed throughout Oakwood. Construction activities regarding excavation and paving have been completed at Camellia St. Currently Earthworks crew are working on Oakwood prepping for Asphalt placement. Landscaping and Sodding crews will begin laying sod along Leslie St and Bernard St.

• Denton Neighborhood 7A: Paving underway on Leslie St. Meanwhile, earthwork on Oakwood Dr is underway. The flatwork concrete crews continue forming and pouring the concrete curb and gutter and driveways on Oakwood and will begin the paving soon after those operations are complete.

• Denton Neighborhood 7A: Paving has completed on Bernard St, Leslie St to begin site excavation. Meanwhile, utility crews are continuing the sanitary sewer installation on Oakwood Dr and are finishing up the water line at Leslie St. The flatwork concrete crews continue forming and pouring the concrete curb and gutter and driveways on Bernard and will begin the sidewalk operations soon after those operations are complete.

Denton Neighborhood 7A: The earthwork crews are continuing subgrade preparations and have begun placing flex base on Bernard St, once completed they will transition to Leslie St to begin site excavation. Meanwhile, utility crews are continuing the sanitary sewer installation on Oakwood Dr and are finishing up the water line at Leslie St. The flatwork concrete crews continue forming and pouring the concrete curb and gutter and driveways on Bernard and will begin the sidewalk operations soon after those operations are complete.

• Denton Neighborhood 7A: Underwood operations have been completed with the installation of the ribbon curb and placement of new asphalt. Earthwork crews have started subgrade preparations and have begun placing flex base on Bernard St. Simultaneously, flatwork concrete crews have commenced the curb and gutter on Bernard. Meanwhile, utility crews are finishing up the sanitary sewer install on Leslie St. and are preparing to tie in the new water line on Bernard St. Once Bernard St work is complete, utility crews will move to Oakwood Dr and begin underground utilities.

• Denton Neighborhood 7A: The earthwork crews have completed subgrade preparations and have placed asphalt on Wisteria St and the Alleys. Simultaneously, the flatwork concrete crews have completed the curb and gutter on Wisteria St and Alleys A, B, and C, and are currently backfilling the back of the curb in preparation for sod. Meanwhile, utility crews are finishing up the installation of sanitary sewer and water services on Bernard St. and are beginning on the sanitary sewer line on Leslie St.

• Denton Neighborhood 7A: The earthwork crews have completed placing asphalt on Camelia St and Azalea St, and will finish preparing Wisteria St for upcoming asphalt paving. The flatwork concrete crews have completed curb and gutter on Azalea and Camelia, and are in the process of completing Wisteria St. Once complete with Wisteria, the earthwork and flatwork crews will mobilize to Alley A, B, and C. Meanwhile, utility crews continue the installation of domestic water and sanitary sewer lines along Bernard St.

• Denton Neighborhood 7A: Utility crews continue installation of domestic water and sanitary sewer lines on Bernard St. The earthwork crews have completed placing asphalt on Camelia St and are currently preparing Azalea St and Wisteria St for upcoming asphalt paving. The flatwork concrete crews have mobilized to Camelia St and are continuing work on the curb and gutter.

Denton Neighborhood 7A: Work is fully underway for the Neighborhood 7A project with a utility crew installing the domestic water line on Bernard St (Roselawn St to Parvin St) followed by the sanitary sewer line. The earthwork crew began roadway preparations along Camelia St, Azalea St, and Wisteria St in prep for asphalt paving in the coming weeks. Flatwork crews will begin shortly thereafter on curbs and gutters on Camelia St.

Construction will start May 22, 2023 for the Neighborhood 7A Project

Expect to see crews in the area along with road closures with changing traffic patterns.

Detours will be provided for road closures.
