The Ryan Road Reconstruction Project will improve mobility and safety on Ryan Road from Teasley Lane (FM 2181) to Country Club Road (FM 1830) by expanding the roadway to include two 12-feet wide travel lanes with a full length 11-feet wide center turn lane, new street lighting, and a 5-feet wide sidewalk path on the south side of Ryan Road. The project is currently in the design phase.

Our consultant is diligently working to secure the finalized surveys necessary for acquiring the ultimate right of way.     Direction from City Management Office has been given for the ROW. Design staff has been given direction and has begun gather survey exhibits of the ROW.Designed Engineers working to address 60% comments and produce 90% plans.

    The Right of Way (ROW) strip map is currently undergoing a comprehensive review to determine the ultimate placement of the ROW boundaries. This crucial step in the project process involves a meticulous examination of the existing infrastructure, topography, and surrounding properties to ensure that the ROW is accurately defined and aligned with the project's requirements.

    A 60% design review meeting is set to take place this month, following the City Management Office's decision to procure the Ultimate Right of Way for the project. A right-of-way strip map is currently in progress to facilitate the City of Denton Internal Real Estate's involvement.
