February Construction Update

February 2024 SED-B Discuss Denton Update Below:

Southeast Denton Package B - Work is progressing steadily on Southeast Denton Package B as there are three main operations currently ongoing throughout the SED-B construction limits.

Utility crews continue the installation of domestic water and sanitary sewer lines from Myrtle St (Fort Worth Dr to Maple St), Maple St (Carroll Blvd to S Elm St), W Highland St (S Elm St to Carroll Blvd), E Collins St, Pierce St ( Stroud St to W Prairie St) and Crawford St (E Mulberry St to E Sycamore St).

Earthwork crews are preparing the roadways for asphalt paving along E Sycamore (Exposition St to Crawford St), E Sycamore St (Crawford st to Wood St), Myrtle St (Fort Worth Dr to Eagle Dr), and E Mulberry St (Crawford St to Wood St).

Concrete crews continue flatwork for new sidewalks, curb and gutter, and pavement along Crawford St ( E Mulberry St to E Sycamore St), E Sycamore St (Exposition St to Crawford St), and Myrtle St (Fort Worth Dr to Eagle Dr).
