July Construction Update

Southeast Denton Package A - Paving and subgrade treatment have begun on the final section of Mill St. Crews will begin with curb and gutter and sidewalk work the week of 7/17. Final paving of Mill st should be complete mid-late August pending weather.

Southeast Denton Package B - Work is progressing steadily in Southeast Denton Package B as utility crews continue to install domestic water and sanitary sewer lines from S Bradshaw St (E Prairie St to E Sycamore St),Industrial St (S Bell Ave to E Mulberry St) Smith St (Dallas Dr to Johnson St and Dallas Dr to Hill St), Wainwright St (E Prairie St to E Sycamore St), and E Sycamore St (Bradshaw St to Crawford St). The earthwork crew continues preparing the roadways along Smith St (Dallas Dr to Johnson St), Maddox St, Wainwright St (E Highland St to E Prairie St), and E Prairie St (Lakey St to S Bradshaw St) for asphalt paving. Concrete crews continue the flatwork along Smith St (Dallas Dr to Johnson St) for new sidewalks, curb and gutter, and pavement.
