June Construction Update

Southeast Denton Package A - Utility crews will be completing water installation on Mill St in May. Paving is complete on Johnson, Industrial and Wye. Paving to begin on Mill St. first of June. Project on schedule to be complete Aug 2023.

Southeast Denton Package B - Work is progressing steadily in Southeast Denton Package B as utility crews continue to install domestic water and sanitary sewer lines from S Bradshaw St (E Prairie St to E Sycamore St), Smith St (Dallas Dr to Johnson St and Dallas Dr to Hill St), Wainwright St (E Prairie St to E Sycamore St), and E Sycamore St (Bradshaw St to Crawford St). The earthwork crew continues preparing the roadways along Smith St (Dallas Dr to Johnson St), Avenue S, and E Prairie St (Lakey St to S Bradshaw St) for asphalt paving. Concrete crews continue the flatwork along Smith St (Dallas Dr to Johnson St) and Wainwright St (E Highland St to E Prairie St) for new sidewalks, curb and gutter, and pavement.
