March Construction Update

Southeast Denton Package A - Utility crews have completed work on Johnson and Industrial St. Water installation will be taking place on Mill st through April. Subgrade stabilization is underway on Johnson, Industrial and Wye. Paving to begin on those segments in early April pending weather. Project on schedule to be complete Aug 2023.


Southeast Denton Package B – Utility crews continue installation of domestic water and sanitary sewer lines on Bailey St, S Bradshaw St (E Prairie St to Wilson St), E Highland St (S Locust St to Wainwright St), Smith St (Dallas Dr to Johnson St), Smith St (Dallas Dr to Hill St) and Avenue S. The earthwork crew has mobilized to E Highland St to prepare area for asphalt paving in the coming weeks and the flatwork concrete crew has mobilized to S Bradshaw St (E Prairie St to Wilson St) and Bailey St to start work on sidewalks, curb and gutter, and pavement.
