September Construction Update

Southeast Denton Package A - Sidewalk installs and final paving complete on Mill St. Sod being placed or parkway restoration. Project completion expected first part of October.

Southeast Denton Package B - Work is progressing steadily in Southeast Denton Package B as utility crews install domestic water and sanitary sewer lines from S Bradshaw St (E Prairie St to E Sycamore St), Industrial St (S Bell Ave to E Mulberry St) Myrtle St (Fort Worth Dr to Maple St), Maple St (Carroll Blvd to S Elm St) and E Sycamore St (Bradshaw St to Crawford St). Earthwork crews are preparing the roadways along Smith St (Dallas Dr to Hills St), Wainwright St (E Prairie St to E Sycamore), S Bradshaw (E prairie St to E Sycamore) and E Prairie St (Lakey St to S Bradshaw St) for asphalt paving. Concrete crews continue flatwork along Smith St (Dallas Dr to Hills St), Prairie (Lakey St to Avenue S), Wainwright St (E Prairie St to E Sycamore) for new sidewalks, curb and gutter, and pavement.
