    The City of Denton will hold a Virtual Community Meeting on Thursday, Feb. 24, regarding street and utility improvements in your area as part of the 2020 Street Bundle Sector III - Southeast Capital Improvement Project (CIP). Register to attend the virtual community meeting HERE.

    The 2020 Street Bundle Sector III - Southeast CIP will include street reconstruction and upgrades to the drainage, sewer, and water systems in the area. This project is a part of a multi-phase street reconstruction project to rebuild existing streets that have reached the end of their useful life. The Southeast Sector includes the street reconstruction for segments of North Wood Street, Hettie Street, Rose Street, Uland Street, McKinney Street, South Wood Street, Bradshaw Street, East Oak Street, East Hickory Street, and Crawford Street. The street reconstruction will include new curb and gutter, asphalt roadways as well as upgraded water and wastewater facilities.
    The City will host the virtual community meeting to provide residents and property owners the opportunity to:

    • Receive an overview of the 2020 Street Bundle Sector III Southeast CIP;and
    • Discuss input and concerns from community members.

    Staff from the City of Denton Capital Projects/Engineering Department and the City's contractor, Jagoe-Public, will be available to discuss the project and answer questions from those participating in the virtual meeting. The meeting will be hosted online using a remote format through the video-conferencing interface Zoom.
