The Windsor Sewer Capacity Upgrade project includes the installation of approximately 3,844 linear feet of 18 inch sewer line along W. Windsor Drive from Fireside Lane to N. Bonnie Brae Street.The intended result of this improvement project is to meet current and future sewer service demand to help ensure a safe and reliable sewer system for community members in the area. A map of the project area can be seen under the "Project Resources" section of this page.

    All major construction items with the Windsor Capacity Upgrade project have been completed.

    Final restoration items are being completed, including sodding and grass implementation.

    Next steps will be project closeout with final completion Q1 2023

    Construction is underway along Windsor Dr. as the new wastewater line is being installed.

    Expect to see construction equipment and workers in the area near North Lakes Park and Recreation Center.

    Temporary roadway and sidewalk closures are to be expected. Detour routes will be provided during closures.

    The City of Denton will hold a Virtual Community Meeting on Thursday, March. 17, regarding upcoming utility improvement construction in your area as part of the Windsor Capacity Upgrade Capital Improvement Project (CIP). Register to attend the virtual community meeting HERE.

    The Windsor Capacity Upgrade CIP is located on W. Windsor Drive from Fireside Lane to N. Bonnie Brae Street and includes the installation of 3,844 linear feet of 18-inch wastewater line to meet current and future sewer service demand for community members in the area.

    The City will host the virtual community meeting to provide residents and property owners the opportunity to:

    • Receive an overview of the Windsor Capacity Upgrade CIP;

    • Receive an update on the project scope, timeline, and expected impacts during construction; and

    • Address additional concerns from community members.

    Staff from the City of Denton will be available to discuss the project and answer questions from those participating in the virtual meeting. The meeting will be hosted online using a remote format through the video-conferencing interface Zoom. Instructions on how to attend and participate in the virtual meeting is listed below.     Tuesday, February 15, the contract for Windsor Capacity Upgrade project was approved

    for award to Flow-Line Construction Inc. by the Denton City Council. A construction schedule and expected

    impacts will be updated prior to start of construction.
