The Hickory Creek Road Phase 3 Project's bridge abutments are in the settlement phase of the construction. The bridge abutments (or approaches) require a settlement time before they can be built on to ensure that they do not settle after the road is completed. The ONCOR distribution line relocation is scheduled for completion this month and City staff is continuing coordination with the contractor to address citizen concerns with the temporary pavement section of the existing Hilltop Road. Please remember to observe all construction warning signs and detour routes as the project progress toward the Q2 2025 estimated completion date. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Dustin Draper at Dustin.Draper@cityofdenton.com(External link)(External link) or by using the ask a Project Manager link on the project page.
