Construct new and improve accessibility of sidewalk along South side of E. Mckinney Street to provide connectivity from Loop 288 to Audra Ln.

    Beginning to work through the necessary easement and Right of Way acquisitions with property owners along this stretch. Approaching a 90% complete plan set to be submitted to the City for review.

    The City has received, reviewed and provided comments for the 30% submittal from the Consultant. The consultant is presently working to incorporate the provided comments to be included in the 60% submittal.

    After careful consideration, this project's scope of work has been revised to include a continuous 5-foot-wide sidewalk in lieu of the originally proposed 10' sidewalk along the south side of McKinney St. to help expedite the construction of the sidewalk. A revised 30% plan set is presently under design.

    The City of Denton has received the 30% design plans, which are currently being reviewed internally. The design consultant will begin working toward the 60% design plans when the review is complete.
