The 2019 Bond Neighborhood 1B project is a part of a multi-phase street reconstruction project to rebuild existing streets that have reached the end of their useful life. Maps are provided to left (or bottom) for all streets that will be part of the Neighborhood 1B project as well as the breakdown of the phases. Street reconstruction will include new curb and gutter, asphalt/concrete roadways and upgrading select water and/or wastewater facilities. There will be some areas of sidewalk and street lighting replacement and areas of new lighting & sidewalk.

Project Timeline Q4 2023 - Q4 2026*

*Estimated project phase timelines are listed for active or planned projects. The projects are the most recent tentative timelines. Project phase timelines include the year range of a project life cycle including at least four phases of construction: planning, design, advertise, bid and award, and construction. Estimated project timelines may change due to weather, contractor scheduling, among other factors, and will be updated as needed.

  • Share Good afternoon, I'm hoping to get an update on the status of Sheraton Rd, specifically at my residence of 2501. There is work taking place today (Saturday, Dec. 13), which in and of itself feels unusual as I can't remember seeing any weekend work since the project started. I'm not sure exactly what they're doing today, but they appear to have re-dug at our sewer connection into the street and to the property across from us. My curiosity is piqued because they just came through to lime the street yesterday so circling back to the sewer work seems to be redoing something that's been done once or possibly even twice already? I'm not trying to complain - our experience thus far has been that the various crews have all been generally accommodating and thoughtful in working and communicating with the residents (though we hadn't anticipated the potential of navigating a 6 ft pit to one side, with the dug-out pile on the other side and trucks and machinery in any other escape routes from our driveway over the weekend) - but I am interested if there is anything to be aware of or concerned about in terms of how the new sewer infrastructure may impact us. Thank you for your time and all the work that goes into a project of this scope! on Facebook Share Good afternoon, I'm hoping to get an update on the status of Sheraton Rd, specifically at my residence of 2501. Good morning and thank you for your question. Before the contractor proceeds with paving operations, we require that they conduct CCTV inspection of the sewer line and services to ensure there are no defects. Upon their inspection of the line you are referring to, they discovered a minor defect that needed to be corrected. I am pleased to report that there is no need to be concerned about your sewer service or associated infrastructure. You are correct, the contractor has not had to work a Saturday on Sheraton Rd since they started. The work completed on Saturday, Dec. 13th was to help ensure that we meet our timeline to place asphalt paving this week (week of 12.15.25).

Thank you for your question. Crews are currently working to get the area dried up and material placed on roadway to provide accessible pathways for residents to and from homes.

Paving is anticipated to start the first week of December, weather permitting.

Good afternoon and thank you for your question. We have completed the sanitary sewer installation, and are scheduled to be completed with the roadway construction on Northridge Street by April.

Good afternoon and thank you for the additional information. The contractor was able to locate and address the issue. The project is currently in delay due to utility conflicts. We are awaiting Atmos to respond in order to relocate utilities that are in conflict with improvements. Construction will continue on Redstone once Atmos has completed their relocations.
