August 2025 Construction Update - 2

Work Packages 2 and 3 are in construction with anticipated completion Q4 2026.

Streets with active construction:

Utilities:

  • Amarillo (Haynes / Congress E) – Continue waterlines and laterals.
  • Egan (Carroll / Bolivar) – Boring has started with waterline and laterals to follow.
  • Normal (W. Oak / Scripture) – Started storm sewer.
  • Ponder (W. Oak / Panhandle) – Continue waterlines and laterals.

Earthwork/Flatwork:

  • Aileen (Panhandle / Cordell) – Final asphalt lift completed. Pending striping, signage, sod, and electrical.
  • Avenue G (Prairie / Louise) – C&G, driveway, and valley gutter poured.
  • Carlton (Aileen / Gober) – Finish grade completed and pending placement of asphalt.
  • Congress E (Ponder / Denton) – 1st lift of asphalt completed.
  • Congress E (Denton / Carroll) – Mixing lime with remix to follow.
  • Congress W (Malone / Bryan) – Curb and gutter concrete placement completed and continuing to backfill for sod.
  • Cordell (Fulton / Crescent) – Finish grade completed with asphalt to follow.
  • Crescent (Carroll / Bolivar) – C&G and driveways formed and poured.
  • Denton St. (Hickory / Congress E) – Asphalt millings started with earthwork to follow.
  • Mounts (Haynes / Congress E) – Potholing and demo has started.
  • Mulberry (Welch / Bernard N) – C&G and driveways formed and pending concrete placement.
  • Scripture (Jagoe / Ponder) – ATMOS re-design.
  • Sunset South (University / Carroll) – Completing valley gutter with asphalt and traffic switch to follow.
  • Union Circle North - Electrical boxes installed and C&G to continue.
  • Welch (Sycamore / Mulberry) – Standard Inlets to begin.
