November 2025 Construction Update

Work Packages 2 and 3 are in construction with anticipated completion Q4 2026.

Streets with active construction:

Utilities (Water / Wastewater Installation):

• Normal (W. Oak / Scripture) – Continue installing reinforced concrete pipe.
• Alice (Panhandle / Crescent) – Continue sewer lines followed by water main and laterals.
• Parkway (Denton / Carroll) – Continue boring water line across Carroll and sewer main followed by water lines.

Earthwork/Flatwork (Roadway Reconstruction):

• Amarillo (Congress / Haynes) – Curb, gutter, driveways, and miscellaneous concrete.
• Cordell (Crescent / Fulton) – Sod, striping, signage, and traffic control removal to be completed.
• Denton St. (Hickory / Congress E) – ATMOS re-design.
• Egan (West) – Continue curb, gutter, and miscellaneous concrete work followed by sod and final lift of asphalt.
• Egan (East) – Traffic control placement followed by removals.
• Emery and Fulton – Begin curb and gutter.
• Mounts (Haynes / Congress E) – Continue curb, gutter, driveways, and miscellaneous concrete work followed by sod.
• Normal (W. Oak / Scripture) – Traffic control placed followed by removals.
• Ponder (Scripture / Grace Temple) – Begin curb and gutter.
• Ponder (Egan / Scripture) – Lime followed by fine grading and 1^st lift of asphalt.
• Prairie (Bernard / Welch) – Continue removals followed by grading.
• Scripture – ATMOS re-design.
• Sunset (University to Alice) – Parking lot asphalt to be placed.
• Welch (Highland / Prairie) – 2^nd lift of asphalt complete followed by 3^rd lift, striping, signage, and traffic control removal.
• Welch (Mulberry / Hickory) – Continue curb, gutter, driveways, and miscellaneous concrete work followed by sod and final lift of asphalt.
