Construction has started and replacement of utilities on Augusta Dr. is currently underway.
Expect to see construction equipment and workers in the area.
Traffic control will be in place along with detour routes in areas of construction.

The City of Denton will hold a Virtual Community Meeting on Thursday, Feb. 10, regarding street and utility improvements in your area as part of the 2020 Street Bundle Sector I - Northwest Capital Improvement Project (CIP). Register to attend the virtual community meeting HERE.
The 2020 Street Bundle Sector I - Northwest CIP will include street reconstruction and upgrades to the drainage, sewer, and water systems in the area. This project is a part of a multi-phase street reconstruction project to rebuild existing streets that have reached the end of their useful life. The Northwest Sector includes the street reconstruction of Greenway Drive, Thunderbird Drive, Brookhollow Drive, Carriage Hill Road, Lakewood Drive, and Augusta Drive. The street reconstruction will include new curb and gutter, asphalt roadways as well as upgraded water and wastewater facilities.
The City will host the virtual community meeting to provide residents and property owners the opportunity to:
Receive an overview of the 2020 Street Bundle Sector I Northwest CIP;and
Discuss input and concerns from community members.
Staff from the City of Denton Capital Projects/Engineering Department and the City's contractor, Pavecon, will be available to discuss the project and answer questions from those participating in the virtual meeting. The meeting will be hosted online using a remote format through the video-conferencing interface Zoom.
