The 2020 Street Reconstruction Bundle: Southwest Sector Project is a part of a multi-phase street reconstruction project to rebuild existing streets that have reached the end of their useful life. The Southwest Sector phase includes the street reconstruction of N. Texas Boulevard, Chestnut Street from Welch Street to Bernard Street; and Welch Street from Collins Street to Fannin Street (view map below). The street reconstruction will include new curb and gutter, asphalt roadways as well as upgraded water and wastewater facilities.

The Southwest Sector phase includes the street reconstruction of N.     Tuesday, June 8, the contract for the 2020 Street Reconstruction Bundle: Southwest Sector project was approved for award to Jagoe-Public Company by the Denton City Council. A construction schedule and expected impacts will be updated on the project page and provided to residents in the area prior to construction.
