The Hickory Creek Road Phase 3 project is located on Hickory Creek Road from Riverpass Drive to FM-1830. To improve safety and mobility in the area, the project includes the design and construction of a four-lane extension and realignment of Hickory Creek Road from Riverpass Drive to FM-1830, and the construction of a bridge that will span Hickory Creek and remove the safety concern of the 90 degree curve from the current Hickory Creek alignment. This project is part of a larger reconstruction and widening project for Hickory Creek Road with the goal of a continuous four lane divided road

    The City of Denton will hold a virtual Community Meeting on Thursday, July 8 at 6 p.m. regarding the roadway extension and realignment of Hickory Creek Road from Riverpass Drive to FM-1830 as part of the Hickory Creek Road Phase 3 Capital Improvement Project (CIP). Sign up to attend the Hickory Creek Road Phase 3 virtual community meeting HERE.

    The City will host the virtual community meeting to provide residents and property owners the opportunity to:

    • Receive an update on the status of the Hickory Creek Road Phase 3 Project,
    • Receive an update on the design and construction timeline for Hickory Creek Road Phase 3; and
    • Discuss input and concerns from community members.

    Staff from the City of Denton Capital Projects/Engineering Department will be available to discuss the project and answer questions from those participating in the virtual meeting. The meeting will be hosted online using a remote format through the video-conferencing interface Zoom.
